Christmas Shop # 1

We braved the Christmas crowds in Funchal today - managed an hour or so before mom and I claimed sanctuary in a cafe with brandy and beer respectively. There will be one further attempt before I resort to Amazon.

Mom caught an amazing sky moment yesterday. Clever lady :)

"Resort" to Amazon? Blasphemy! Amazon is where you start. What could be better - a bookshop with everything where they even put it in the box, lick the stamps and take it to the post office for you. AND they remember your Visa number so all you have to do is point the mouse and move a finger. Modern life just doesn't get any better...

Ha ha! All valid arguments. You're right, Amazon is a great place filled with precious things.

I guess because it requires so little effort and time, I figured I should brave the xmas crowds to see if I could get anything that you couldn't get in Dublin. However, the idea of clicking on the remainder of the shopping really appeals!
